Objective: People who have higher social health can more successfully deal with the challenges and ups and downs of playing key social roles and participate more in collective activities and prevent social deviations and anomalies. In this regard, foresight and the development of a forward-looking strategy model by the media can play an important role in promoting the social health of their audience (individuals).Method: This research has been done qualitatively and quantitatively. In the qualitative phase, content analysis and Q methods were used, and in the quantitative phase, factor analysis was used to analyze the Q method data.Results: The content analysis of the media in this study showed that the most media production in the field of social deviations with 576 cases and the lowest media production in the field of violence with 237 cases. The field of social quality with 485 and the field of social issues with 312 cases are in the second and third ranks. A small questionnaire was made and based on it, the desired model was designed using PLS software. Conclusion: This model showed that the function of media is effective in promoting social health of society and can have the greatest impact on improving quality of life, reducing violence, reducing social deviations and social issues.

Improving participation in voluntary activities in Iran is important because increasing productivity among young people, given the country's young population, contributes to community sustainability. Therefore, a better understanding of volunteer motivation in Iranian youth is needed. The Volunteer Functions Inventory (VFI) for assessing volunteer motivations has good psychometric properties and is adapted to several languages, but no validated Iranian translation yet exists. The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychometric Characteristics of voluntary functions inventory in members of Iranian Red Crescent Society. Sample size was 595 members of Youth Organization of Iranian Red Crescent Society from 31 provinces and 175 cities of Iran that were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method and responded to voluntary functions inventory. Data were collected using a demographic sample and voluntary functions inventory (VFI). Confirmatory factor analysis using principal components method was used for data analysis. The results of the present study showed that the voluntary functions inventory had validity and reliability. Also, the factor structure showed that 29 items and 6 factors well assess people's attitudes to volunteering, and the structure of this inventory was well-fitted and confirmed all goodness of fit models. The present study provides the use of the Iranian translation of the Voluntary Functions Inventory (6 scales and 29 items) to assess volunteer motivation among young Iranian volunteers.

Nowadays, almost everything is dealing with social media. If you are on social networks, content communities, micro - blogs, wikis and instant messengers, you would not be a part of cyberspace. Social media allows companies with limited budget to be in touch with users at the right time, directly and immediately. This situation makes social media to not only be useful for many multinational corporations around the world but also for small and medium-sized companies and even governmental and non-profit companies. The use of this mean s of communication is not a simple activity but new modes of thought are required. This article tries to clarify in this area. This article begins with defining the concept of social media, the characteristics of these new technologies, and also presenting an assortment of social media in form of seven blocks (identity, dialogue, sharing, presence, relationships, reputation, and group). And finally investigate the challenges and opportunities created by the increasing use of social media.

In this paper, an alternative approach in operational modal analysis is presented, utilizing image processing technique and transmissibility functions. Imaging sensors do not impose additional mass on the structure due to their non-contact nature, while transmissibility functions, independent of excitation type, can directly extract mode shapes. The innovation of this research lies in combining these two techniques to record dynamic responses and identify modal properties. To capture the temporal response history from video signals, the block-matching method with sub-pixel accuracy was employed. Validation was conducted by recording the response of the tip of a cantilevered steel beam subjected to impact excitation, using a high-speed camera and a laser vibrometer, simultaneously. The RMSE plots in the time domain and the PSD in the frequency domain indicate high accuracy of this method. Using this approach, the displacement time histories of various points on the structure were extracted from the video signals, and the modal properties, including natural frequencies, damping ratios, and mode shapes, were identified using the transmissibility matrix method. The results obtained from the proposed method were compared with the stochastic subspace identification (SSI) method and analytical solutions. The findings reveal the accuracy of the modal identification approach introduced in this article. The highest relative error in estimating the natural frequencies of the first and second modes, compared to the values from the laser method, are 0.19% and 0.13%, respectively, and in comparison to the analytical values, they are 0.34% and 1.5%, respectively.

Habitat suitability prediction for the animals is one of the ways to achieve the conservation goals for biodiversity. In the present study, habitat suitability of Lacerta media has been evaluated. Based on the maximum entropy result, northwest and western Iran has been predicted as the most suitable for the species presence. Also there are several records of the species presence in Alborz, Markazi, East Azarbaijan and Esfahan provinces that currently situated outside of the suitable predicted region. Precipitation of the coldest quarter with contribution more than 40% was distinguished as the most contributed environmental variable for species presence. Unsuitability prediction of the species presence in central plateau and East Azarbaijan province directly has been influenced by the recent decreasing of winter precipitation. Also, disturbance the habitats of the species along valleys and rivers is the main factors to the decreasing population size of the species. Finally, evaluation the effective factors for species distribution and finding new suitable areas for species presence can help to prevent the species extinction risk in the wild.

This article aimed to explore the theoretical principles of psychological functions of mass media. One of the main psychological functions of media is to shape the intellectual priorities of audiences. Shaping audiences’ intellectual priorities, somehow, demonstrates the effectiveness of the psychological functions of media. This paper discusses the related theories including agenda setting, goalkeeping and media functions and then concludes that the media priority influences both public and social issues agenda setting. In media priorities, various aspects such as visibility (reflection and covering of a new topic) and the importance of the matter to the audience (the appropriateness of news content with the needs of the audience) are matters of high significance. Using these functions, media can psychologically and socially influence their audiences. It should be noted that this article is an extract of the M.A. thesis titled “An Explanative Approach to Mechanisms of Radio Javan in Iran”.

A complete series of potential functions for solving the wave equations in an almost transversely isotropic media is presented. The potential functions are reduced to only one potential function particularly for axisymmetric wave propagation problems. The potential functions presented in this paper can be reduced to Lekhnitskii-Hu-Nowacki solution for elastostatics problems.

This article aims to analyze Siyahatnameh-ye EbrahimBeyk; an influential book on Iranian constitutional revolution as a medium for awakening people in Ghajarera. Furthermore, we want to know how the political and social& cultural situations of Ghajar were represented in the book. We use thematic analysis, a qualitative analytical method for identifying, analyzing and reporting patterns (themes) within data, to examine the themes and concepts of the text. In the first step, we identify and Generate Initial Codes.After creating and developing the codes, we search and produce meaningful themes. According to the themes, finally, we try to answer the research questions. Our main question is how the book represents the political and social & cultural conditions, we show it has had four functions: to describe the status quo, to illustrate the flaws of status quo, to present some solutions to overcome them and to depict an ideal situation. The second question is, how the content of the book can intrigue people for revolutionary activity. Introducing new concepts such as “law”, “progress”, “civildisobedience” and so on and also comparing the situation in Iran with the other developed countries, are two important themes in Siyahatnameh that both can answer the last question.
